My plans to do:

Stop #1 - Leon

Leon is the favorite city of almost all backpackers in Nicaragua. This is because the nightlife is very nice and of course because of the volcano boarding where you slide off the volcano with a wooden board at high speed.

On my to do list: Catedral de leon, Kayak in Nicaragua’s idyllic mangroves isla de juan venado, , volcano boarding in Cerro Negro, Sleep on top of an active volcano(telica)

Duration stay:  5 days

Stop #2 - Granada

Granada is a colonial city in Nicaragua. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the country. The city was founded in 1524 by the Spaniards and has a history that goes back many hundreds of years.  There are some bad reviews about Granada, due to nuisance of homeless youth. But Granada is definitely worth your visit because there are a lot of amazing activities to do around this city, for example seeing spitting lava of the Masaya volcano.

On my to do list: visit the cathedrals, Horse drawn carriage, island hopping on Granada Lake, explore Cloud forest reserve of the Mombacho Volcano, Explore the, Take the Masaya Volcano Night Tour

Duration stay: 6  days
